Tom – Big Blue Swimming North Sydney Coach/ Monte Swim Club Senior Coach
Background/education level in sports/swimming/leisure: Tom competed for GBR and England 2010-2015 in the 400 and 1500 freestyle, consistently ranking top 25 in the world in these events. Tom later switched to Open Water 5km and 10km, he has now moved into coaching since retiring from competitive swimming, but because of his participating within the sport, brings a wealth of this experience into his coaching.
Favourite thing/memory about the water/swimming: First senior GBR appearance at 17. Also travelling the world competing in the sport I enjoy.
Favourite past time: Watching football (soccer), visiting the beach, enjoying time with friends.
Why are you passionate about kids/swimming/education: I am passionate about swimming as it has opened many doors for me. I hope that my love for swimming can help others to reach their own potential & goals.
Favourite song: tough one, maybe not my all time favourite but a top 3 is: Stone Roses- “I Wanna Be Adored”

Why are you passionate about kids/swimming/education: Swimming is my hobby, my job, my passion and my life! It’s an honour to be able to share with as many people as possible.
Favourite past time: Swimming, rugby, general mischief and winding people up..
